invitation to insurance and mortgage intermediaries
We
are running a series of special events around the country for
mortgage and insurance intermediaries - giving these firms the
opportunity to find out more about how we work and what we do
at the Financial Ombudsman Service.
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) will regulate mortgage
intermediaries from the end of October this year, and insurance
intermediaries from 14 January 2005. From the same dates, these
firms will be covered, by law, by the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Each event begins at 10.50am. There will be a presentation at
11.00am (lasting approximately 50 minutes), followed by an informal
question and answer session. There's no need to book - just
turn up on the day at the venue that's most convenient for you.
