  • service desk analyst

    permanent – salary £22,700 to £26,000 plus excellent benefits – London docklands

    Are you a service desk analyst who’d like to develop your career at a large, fast-moving organisation which makes a real difference to people’s lives?

    Our IT service desk supports all our people who rely on our service to provide IT services and keep them operational by resolving day-to-day IT problems. As a service desk analyst, you’ll be customer focused, providing answers to queries mainly over the phone and by email. And you’ll accurately log all of the request and issues you deal with and use our knowledge base to provide resolutions at point of call.

    You’ll have some experience of working on an IT service desk using a service management tool. And since we’re using the ITIL framework, having a good understanding of this and working to processes and procedures would be ideal. We’re looking for someone with initiative and enthusiasm that has a real passion for delivering a consistently high quality of service as you’ll play an important role in providing a great service to our end users.

    health and safety manager

    permanent – salary £40,000 - £45,000 plus excellent benefits – London docklands

    Can you help us to keep our staff safe?

    We’re looking for a health and safety manager to lead on health and safety matters across the service and to help encourage a positive health and safety culture by explaining to colleagues what this means for them.

    We all know prevention is better than cure so you’ll make sure our policies reflect legislation and make sure our people are following our policies and practices by taking steps to prevent accidents and injuries before they happen.

    A crucial part of the role will be identifying things we could be doing better and offering a range of solutions, options and recommendations to ensure we remain compliant. Whilst you will be recording every accident and incident, you’ll also be looking at trends and patterns. You’ll also be working closely with both internal and external staff across our facilities to ensure planned preventative maintenance is completed on time.

    We are looking for someone who is IOSH and first aid qualified and preferably NEBOSH qualified too. We need someone who has successfully managed health and safety matters at a senior level to help us develop and monitor safety standards. You will need to have good knowledge and understanding of multi-tenanted buildings with strong communication skills in order to work with other colleagues to ultimately ensure our contractors, tenants, visitors and members of the public are safe whilst on our premises.

    Dynamics CRM developer

    permanent – salary £50,000 to £55,000 – London docklands

    Our case management system used across the organisation is based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM – a crucial piece of technology for our service and customers.

    As a new Dynamics CRM developer, you’ll be producing the code for all our CRM applications, while collaborating with colleagues in IT to address any issues we’re facing with delivery. You’ll need to have our people in mind with the work you’re doing, considering how the system is used on a daily basis.

    You’ll need substantial experience of CRM development in Microsoft Dynamics 365, and good knowledge of best practice development in the .NET framework. You’ll also need good interpersonal skills, an awareness of the needs of the customer, and be comfortable working in a project based environment where meeting important deadlines is crucial.

    It would be really useful to have knowledge of VSTS, NServiceBus and Microsoft Entity Framework which are key tools in our IT estate, along with experience of test driven development and continuous integration.

    HR Director for the Financial Ombudsman Service

    The Financial Ombudsman Service was set up by Parliament to resolve individual complaints between financial businesses and their customers – fairly, reasonably, quickly and as informally as possible. We can look into problems involving most types of money matters – from payday loans to pensions, pet insurance to PPI.
